I’m currently on iOS 17.5.1 and have noticed that I am unable to complete card payments when using Safari.
When the authorisation page, eg Mastercard 3D secure, should ‘pop up’ to allow me to authorise the payment, it doesn’t. Initially I thought it was an issue with the websites I was using, but I was able to complete checkout via Google Chrome.
anyone else having the same issue, or know what the issue is?

I have been having exactly the same issue for about 4 weeks. Safari seems unable to work with a the main card authentication protocols. I have to resort to Chrome, where it all works fine. If this continues I will have to make Chrome my default browser.
I'm having the same problems with safari on iOS and macOS. Both devices are fully up to date and the browser on each device is the latest version. I've tried clearing the cache, history, quit and restart, re-booting the device. No luck.
I have exactly the same issue tried to make payments yesterday and today but won’t go through just hang on iphone14 with safari but my iPad works ok , just added chrome will see what happens next time
I’m having the same problem. It seems to be since the last update but hard to be sure. My payments work fine on chrome.
