Apple music with HP laptop bluetooth

Does anyone else have this issue with a non-apple laptop (HP)? I cannot play Apple Music on my Bluetooth speaker (X-Go) unless I connect my non-apple laptop(HP) to my laptop before opening Apple Music. If, I have my apple music open and playing and decide to use bluetooth I have to close out and re-open. The speaker won't even show up in airdrop. I also never had this issue before the switch from the old itunes for everything to seperate icon platforms for each ..

However, the bluetooth device shows up on my iphone in the airdrop to be selected as the speaker/output.
