podcasts exhibit very rapid speech compared to same on computer

I listen to several podcasts on my Iphone 15. Lately I have noticed an increase in the speed of speech. I ran the same podcast on my computer and the speech was not nearly as rapid. I checked several podcasts that I routinely use and the same thing has happened. Any ideas on what is going on?
