Go back one animation in Keynote for iPad

Being able to go back and repeat individual animations has been a very important feature in my Keynote presentations (using Shift and left arrow). Now I want to switch to Keynote on the iPad and have not been able to find any way to go back one animation, not even when I connect a keyboard.

Is there really no way, or has anybody found some trick to do this?

If there really is no work-around, is there a way to get Apple to look into this?
