Re-ordering Long Podcast Queue Frustrating After Upgrade

I recently upgraded to IOS 17.4.1 (can't remember prior version) and the podcast queue has gotten significantly more frustrating to re-order.

When you add a new episode, it goes to the bottom. If you have a short queue, then it isn't really an issue to move it back up to the top. However, if you have a long queue, then what happens is that you scroll up and when you try to drop the new episode into the right location it quickly moves the queue back to the bottom. So you basically can't move it that way. The only thing I've figured out that works is to not move it more than one screen at once, which is very frustrating.
