Apple Music Lossless Audio and High Res Do Not Work on Windows
Who else is experiencing this issue?
Since the new Apple Music was launched this year, I have been unable to stream music in lossless or high res quality from my PC or laptop.
For over a month, I've had a case open with tech support but they continue to stall on finding out what the issue is, regardless of how many videos, screenshots and walkthroughs of the issue I've provided per their senior engineers' requests.
My PC and sound system are both up to date and fully equipped with a proper DAC etc.
I'm constantly having to follow up with customer service/tech support, re-explain the issue, get put on hold for 45 minutes and then re-explain the issue again to another contact.
Numerous other users have reported the same issue on Reddit and other channels.
