Why does Apple Pay purchase transaction history list the day when the purchase was made instead of the date as listed on the receipt? When I reconcile my account weekly I have to reference a calendar to correlate Apple's (confusing) listed purchase day with the date. Time consuming as well since there are multiple purchases from the same store, e.g., grocery, gas, etc., made each week.
Apple Pay transactions share what the bank wants to share with Apple. If the card shows the day of week rather, than numerical date, it’s what the bank shares. Discover Cards are now displaying increased information, including numerical dates.
Pending charges are not actual charges. This is common at gas stations in particular where a hold is placed on funds and then released several days later.
Both pending and processed charges are listed by the day of the week. Why not list the actual DATE as all other credit/debit card companies do? I know it doesn't matter for those who don't keep track of/reconcile their accounts. Just saying. I know, "It's a First World problem". 😁

Since the Goldman Sachs monthly statement lists all transactions by date, I assumed it was Apple trying to be different.
