iPhone 15 pro max is not being recognized on Apple Music app on my Windows 10 PC. Cannot trasfer music to phone whatsoever.

After connecting the phone to the PC the only thing I get is the file explorer with the phone listed in This PC saying it is just Apple iPhone rather than the actual name of the phone. Also it says that the folder is empty and after a short while, I am able to open the phone only to see folders with the dates when my pictures were taken. Does not list the Music folder to view all music on phone. I am using a USB-C to USB-A cable to connect it as my Windows 10 PC does not have a USB-C port on it. The cable that came with the phone is a USB-C to USB-C type. I have tried the Apple Devices app to see if it is listed there and it is, but in Apple Music it is not so I cannot do anything with the phone when connected to the PC.

Windows, Windows 10
