transferriPhone 13ing personally ripped music from itunes to i

I have a lot of music I have ripped from personally owned CD and have loaded to iTunes, but these recordings will not sync to my iPhone 13 running IOS 17. Can this be done with an Apple Music subscription and with they still be available if the subscription is dropped?

Sync music without cloud services i have ripped 500 of my own CDs and in addition purchased music from Apple Music. I want to transfer all that music to my iPhone without using Sync Library or any cloud services. Other than my iPhone and MBP having the same account, I don’t want any other cloud intervention.
