Krazy. In Itunes... it is VERY simple to remove a song from a PLAYLIST without deleting it anywhere else.
I cannot remove a song from an Apple Music playlist!!! What is going on? I see options ONLY to "delete from library" or "remove download". Help?

I had this problem when I was looking at my playlist using the Songs view. If I switch to Playlist view I can delete the songs from the playlist instead of my entire library. If you're not familiar with changing views, it's a button on the top right of the screen with three lines, if you mouse over it, it says "View Options." Click on the button and there will be dropdown menu that says "View As." If you select Playlist, you hopefully should be able to delete songs from that playlist without removing them from your library.

When you're in "Playlist View", you CAN'T get any information on the songs in list form. I remove songs from my "Current Hits" playlist when the "Release Date" (I add this column in "Song View") is older than 3 months. So, I identify those but can't remove them from the playlist because they are in "Song View." I have to mark them with star ratings as one, then go back to "Playlist View" and search for them manually since I can't sort in that view. Change the star rating back to where it was, then remove. Not easy! This was easy to do on iTunes. They obviously missed that when they created the Apple Music App for Windows 11. Does anyone have a better idea for me to do this? Thanks.
