Is Vision Pro strap removal and replacement generally safe to do semi-regularly?

Packing an Apple Vision Pro is incredibly difficult due to the envelope that those straps make.

(Flyers often don't check luggage and can't use the AVP case taking up their carryon).

Being able to remove the straps for packing and reattaching for use would be tremendously helpful in making the AVP more usable for in areas it shines (portable productivity).

So: is removing the straps and reattaching for, example, packing safe?

I'm referring to the audio straps. The hard bits of plastic with audio components in them. (My question was attached to an article about removing the audio straps for repair, but that context isn't obvious.) There are no other such straps sold on the main site. [There is one sold on the developer site. But it's not clear that it's meant to be swapped in and out.]

Is Vision Pro strap removal and replacement generally safe to do semi-regularly?
