On my main screen, a little microphone is present on the screen and it will not go away. I’ve tried a hard reset and the microphone is still there. I am unable to touch or engage with it, it’s just there :/

After trying everything. I read a few different sites and found the answer to getting rid of the red recording and going back to the microphone in text. I went to general, keyboards, and noticed my "one handed keyboard" was off, I chose Right and the microphone came back inside the text box on the right side. YEAH!!!
I figured this out. It was because voice control was activated. When I said “start listening” and then said “turn off voice control” it went away. :)
