Wondering if the Apple Vision Pro would be an effective tool for improving driving skills on the race track

Wondering if the new vision pro would be an effective tool for improving driving skills on the race track? Using for practicing laps around various existing race tracks such as Laguna Seca. That way i can practice before i actually take a real car out on the track.

Hello GErickson021!

I just wanted to say that this is an amazing idea! Many would love to drive in virtual reality, and with Vision Pro's groundbreaking spatial audio system, it would sound completely real! Refer to jpshakelford's reply for developer tools. Also, you should post this comment in the Apple Developer forums. Also, to learn more about games made with Unity on Apple Vision Pro, watch the WWDC23 video Bring your Unity VR app to a fully immersive space; visit the visionOS page on the Apple Developer website.

Good luck, and I trust that the result will be amazing!

The quality of the immersive experience is astonishing. As to your specific application, I think that would depend on the quality of an app developed for that purpose. I am not aware of a driving simulator available made specifically for Apple Vision Pro but the developer toolkit includes support for Unity which is a popular engine for building games so perhaps an enterprising developer or game company will build one.
