Can Vision Pro assist with macular degeneration?

Can the Vision Pro project the space in front of you to be enlarged or manipulated to recenter. which would assist the user to their vision preference, or distort the blind spot?

Wondering the same thing.

My mother has wet macular for 25 years, she can function pretty well (better than I could in her shoes) largely because of her peripheral vision. If Vision Pro were able to take what is in front of her and display it on the sides, to where she can see it, this could be an amazing game changer for her.

These are fellow user supported, public communities and Apple is not here. Apple has this article on Using Apple Vision Pro with certain medical conditions - Apple Support but it does not directly address Macular Degeneration.

The Apple Vision Pro requires specific prescriptions for pre-existing vision issues, may not be suitable for some of these, and does not automatically make continual automatic adjustments for degenerative eye conditions that may require very expensive, specifically fitted corrective lenses for Macular Degeneration. Best confer with a practicing Optometrist and Apple directly.

My Mother had Macular Degeneration and she could barely read with $2000 custom eyeglasses that featured a 2-inch enhanced magnifier attached to each lense. Even if Apple's Vision Pro had existed then, her corrective lenses would have been incompatible. She was advised to learn braille.

Definitely something you should suggest to Apple:
