KEYNOTE reduce file size

KEYNOTE question. I have a 2022 Mac Studio.

When I "reduce file size", it reduces photo size.

Does it also reduce TEXT clarity or sharpness? It appears to me (I think) that the lettering is a tad blurry after.

Keynote creating very large PDF files Hi, I recently updated to Mac OS Big Sur. When I create a PDF from a 9.2MB Keynote, the PDF is 22.8MB. I reduced the file size of the Keynote to 6.9MB using the 'reduce file size' option from the File menu, but the PDF that's created is still 22.8MB. When creating the PDF, I selected 'Image Quality' as 'Good', which is the lowest quality option. Prior to updating to Big Sur, the PDF I created from the 9.2MB Keynote was 12MB (which is still very large). I would be grateful for information on how to significantly reduce the PDF file size while retaining a high quality of images, please. Many thanks.

Keynote - extreme file sizes - will this ever be fixed? Keynote file sizes are extreme. Is anything being done for future versions to fix this issue? (The master is one issue: adding an image to a master and using this master repeatedly thought-out the presentation increases the KN file size by huge margins --> the master "copies" to each slide rather than "referencing". Also, if you import and then crop a full image within KN, it retains the info for the entire image. I get that in case I may want to go back and resize it... but I'd rather re-import the original than have the file size explode. KN, sadly, still has a long way to go to become a pro presenter software.)
