Our computer lab teacher created a script years ago that allowed her to log in all 23 computer lab iMacs at once using ARD. It was working flawlessly up until the upgrade of mac OS Sonoma. We keep receiving the same error 36:58: execution error: Not authorized to send Apple events to System Events. (-1743)
Yes this is a serious problem. Even the latest update of Sonoma 14.2.1 still does not allow this functionality. Even Ventura 13.6.3 will not allow such communication - different error with same dead-end results. I will be leaving my labs at 13.6.1 to allow quick installation of software.
I have been trying figure this issue out as well and the only work around i found was giving ARD agent full disk access in system settings. Cheers and I hope this helps.
I cant edit my last comment but giving ARD full disk access did not fix the login issue. Hopefully someone finds a fix for this.
