AirPod max connection problems

I bought my APM around 18 months ago and they always worked fine.

Two weeks ago my APM max stopped connecting to my iPad and iPhone. I tried recharging the battery, pressing the noise cancelation button for 5 sec, and pressing both buttons until I saw the red light and the white light and nothing. I also noticed that the LED indicating the battery status doesn’t work unless connected to the charger and when I press the Noise cancelation button. After some days my APM just started working normally for two days and suddenly they stopped again.

Did anyone have the same problem? Any suggestions to help?
