Can't save . . . until I minimize it

Hello

I'm using Keynote 13.2 on a MacBook Air M2 running OS Sonoma 14.1.2 I'm working on a presentation with around 30 slides and lots of imported images (copy/paste from web sites).

Every few minutes I'll hit Command-S to save my work and nothing will happen. Or I'll try to type in the comments area and it won't let me.

The solution I've found is to minimize the document and reopen it and then everything is fine - I can save and type comments. So there is a solution, but I'm wondering why this happens and a little worried that something worse will occur.

Any ideas?
