Calendar won't accept spaces in Header

When I try to edit or type an event in Calendar The Calendar won't accept a space character. As i am typing sat three words ,"Exe Go to the show." what I get is "gototheshow" . in addition if i back up the cursor to the place there was supposed to be a space it refuses to accept a space. So strange. if I tab to another program that accepts typing herefor example it types a space every time. Just in the calendar app. I have rebooted my mac and shut off the keyboars and recharged it, it makes no difference. This does not happed all the time. Very finicky.

Mac Studio, macOS 14.2

A work around I have found is if you want to type text with space, Do this, type what you want then select the Date Time field select the date you want and time. Then go up to the Text field and you can magically edit what you typed putting spaces where you want. Crazy. I have found this problem in other Apple apps. Exe Finder search won't accept a space either no work around there unless you type the search criteria in notes the copy/paste. So annoying. Another place is search in Google earth typing in the search get beach ball that won't go away. Google says it is Apples Problem and Apple says it is a google problem. Who cares/ just fix it. Apple maps is a P.O.S. compared to Google earth IMO. So probably it is Apple breaking Google earth to force people to use Apple Maps. but perhaps not.
