Smart Albums moving themselves within Album list.

Afternoon, I checked and couldn't find a discussion about this topic and was wondering if anyone has experienced it or has an idea why it happens.

I purchased a Macbook to assist with my photo library as it's easier to work with and offers more functionality than my iPhone. I began using the smart albums feature to find photos without location information, or that weren't in albums already among other criteria.

I have my Photo Albums sorted by Name and have not changed the sort order, nor do I want to. To make my life a little easier, I manually dragged the smart albums to the top of the list where I could see them quickly. Periodically and not every time either which is maddening, when I open my photos app, those smart folders have all moved to the bottom of the Album list and I need to drag them back to the top. These are the only ones that move, the rest of the albums stay in their Alphabetical order.

Does anyone else experience this and have a way to circumvent it? I have tried renaming the Smart albums themselves but they always move to the bottom of the list.
