How can I use my 2011 imac running High Sierra as a display for my new m3? It seems as though the new imac m3 does not support using a 2011 imac in target disk mode. Can I use a dock?

Target Display Mode is not available on M3 Macs. You will need to consider a proper third-party display instead.
