Keynote HTML exports do not play on iOS

This post's title is both descriptive of the issue, and in honor of this post from three years ago, "HELP ! Keynote HTML exports does not play… - Apple Community."

Does anyone have a workaround for this long-standing issue with iOS browsers? The files graciously shared by "pwrmacjedi" still work much better than the standard HTML file and player folder files exported by the current version of Keynote, but there is no audio playback at all (I have narration in my deck), the navigation links are unreliable, and some slides still force page reloads.

Has anyone successfully altered the files for better iOS playback? Like Final Cut, Keynote sadly gets no real love from Apple...
