iMac 2011 no iPhoto

I just had to reinstall Mac OS X 10.7.3, yet no iphoto app was downloaded so I go to the App Store to download maverick because that supposedly has the iPhoto app included but I don’t have any option to download maverick is there somewhere I could download iPhoto without maverick or is there another way I could download maverick. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Jenna

You are between the rock and a hard place.

Mac OS X 10.7.3 Lion you will need iPhoto '11. It should have been included on your system install DVDs that came with your Mac. Do you still have them?

Upgrading to Mavericks will not help, because the iPhoto versions for Mavericks require an iPhoto version that has only been available from the App Store. And you can only download it, if it is already in your purchase history at the App Store. Have you ever associated iPhoto with your AppleID at the App Store on any of your Macs, after Apple introduced the App Store? Then you could try to download a version of iPhoto from your Purchase History. But you can no longer purchases it there, only download it again, if you already have iPhoto in your past purchases. I am still seeing the old iLife '11 apps in my Purchase history at the App Store, even on macOS 14 Sonoma, but only, because I associated them with my AppleID, right after I upgraded to Mavericks. It has been the first system version where we could do that.

I actually just had to use disk utility to fix my corrupted hard drive. So there is nothing to back up and when I reinstalled Mac os and when doing so it installed the newest version that was available for my iMac and the previous update I had originally had photos so why or how could upgrading fix the photo issue when there was no issue until the hard reset? Plus I’m almost positive I have the latest update on my 2011 iMac, there is no more updates for my specific IMac. The iMac 2011 only goes so far and I have reached that milestone. So any other ideas? Once again I had photos available before this update so they were available with the previous version but now they’re not and this is with the newest version of Mac OS.

Now after hard resetting again and using disk utility to erase and repair the disk im back to lion… now my iMac barely works I can’t get it to login to iCloud or have it work with anything that requires a network connection yet I have it connected via Ethernet to my router but nothing, even the IP address shows and everything in network setting I have my proxy turn on but not internet even though there is and it won’t let me connect or even create WiFi to connect to. I’ve never experienced anything like this before with any apple product… any suggestions?
