Icons for photos-gifs-Bitmoji missing in imessage

I no longer have my icons to send photos-gifs-Bitmoji in I message. After the update they disappeared. How do I get these back. In order to send a photo…I have to ‘go’ to my photos-copy-then come back to my iMessage to paste. I used to have an option to just click in iMessage to send. Help
