Bluetooth dropping out with iOS 15.8 and Oticon REAL hearing aids

I am told by the Oticon connectivity resource that the 7Plus iPhone is having problems maintaining Bluetooth, because it cannot be updated to level 16 software. This is a disaster for my husband, who just purchased the hearing aids, is very elderly, and would have great difficulty adapting to new phones. Will Apple be addressing this accessibility problem for users being left behind? Being able to use the phone to communicate is essential, and being able to listen to on-line programming as well. Any feedback welcome, particularly from Apple. This is a disability issue for the hard of hearing.

If you want to get this feedback to Apple, please use this form: Product Feedback - Apple

This is a user to user forum and apple is not actively participating here. However, I understand your husbands difficulties! I am hard of hearing myself and I use Reston hearing aids with my iPhone 13 on iOS 17. This is working flawlessly.

But: there are still updates for iOS 15 so I hope that apple can address this matter in an update if it really is about the iOS
