Has anyone had problems with the iPhone charging cable? Mine apparently went on fire while I was sleeping. The cable near where it connects to the phone burned and even melted the plug that goes into the phone--and left burn marks on the table where it was sitting.

Oh my! I was plugging my phone in next to my bed and noticed a white blob hanging off near the connector that goes into the phone. And then I noticed the white coating was broken apart into places. Both spots were burned and melted. The phone still tried to charge, but I unplugged it from the outlet immediately. That could’ve caused a fire no doubt in my mind if that cord was right next to the proper kindling, poof!
