iTunes saying no music on iPhone 15 pro

When I connect my iPhone 15 pro to iTunes and click on iPhone music it says "no items" (see photo), there are 1900+ songs on the iPhone. I haven't synced this iPhone with iTunes yet and have "manually manage songs & videos" selected in iTunes. I only want to edit the song info on some songs on my iPhone but can't do that on the iPhone itself.

Hi Hogwhale,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! In order to access your music from your iPhone on another device, you'll need to use the sync library feature that's avaialble with Apple Music or iTunes Match. This will allow you to be able to manage and edit music on your computer. This article explains how: Access your music library on all your devices.

Cheers!
