Thank you! I figured it out. What was weird was I got the new 15 iPhone, and my old phone would not let go. I deleted it (old phone) from my Apple account, but didn't erase the phone first. So my poor watch was not responding to either phone. I had to add the old phone back to my Apple account, then erase the data, then remove it from my Apple account.
Case closed. Thank you!
