iPod touch will not connect to the App Store

I just received an iPod touch 6th generation. I was given this iPod due to a medical procedure that is to control my device that was implanted. I cannot connect to the App Store. Any suggestions? I really need to get the app downloaded and it will not work on my phone.

Check the network connection:

You need to have a good Service and/or Wi-Fi.

If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.

Charge the battery > 70%.

If you can't connect to the App Store, iTunes Store, or other Apple services
