Hi! So I had reserved a room for a Marriot in LA with another credit card but that card was stolen and I won't get another one in time for my trip. The only other credit card I have is my apple card, which is a mastercard but it does not show the numbers on the physical card, will I be okay or will I have to sleep on a bench? Thank you!

Possibly yes, and possibly no. Many hotels want a photo copy of the payment method/credit card in order to record account information. I’ve had hotels decline my Apple Card because of no card information.
I’ve got around this by booking through sites such as Hotels.com or booking through the app the hotel chain offers, such as Hilton, Marriott, etc. It’s only been problematic when booking directly with the hotel.
It really depends on the hotel and the use case here as well as the software the hotel is leveraging. For example, a hotel leveraging a platform like Selfbook for its booking engine (basically online shopping cart for a hotel) will accept Apple Pay for bookings. Marriott, for example, also has Apple Pay within the Bonvoy app for bookings. If you're asking about in destination payments at food and beverage outlets, spas, gift shops, etc. that's a whole different story and frankly much more prevalent (although Apple Pay bookings will come soon to most hotels as well). That will depend on the POS (point of sale). A modern POS like Toast, for example will absolutely accept Apple Pay but if they use an older system they may still be a bit behind the times on mobile payments.
