how to reinstate a WORKING debit card

Recently, I was hit with a charge that I thought was fraudulent so just like any normal thinking person you contact your bank first to see where it came from. It came from Apple. Two weeks later I’m using a program I normally use on my iPhone when I’m doing a quick edit for videos and none of my add-ons are there. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone just to find out that Apple AI system has banned my card because I refuted the charges.

There is no second chance I never received a email I was told by the gentleman on the phone there’s no way of fixing that and mind you. He did a wonderful job.

My main problem is, how can I fix this issue one time issue? And why is a solitary program dictating fraud, and not fraud or whatever I can’t even use my phone for Apple Pay and isn’t the whole concept of going cardless is to have your whatever former payment in your phone.

iPhone 14, iOS 17

That appears to be Apple's policy. If you refute what Apple considers a legitimate charge by having your bank reverse the charge, the payment method you used is no longer acceptable. The lesson from this is to contact Apple Support before refuting the charge through your bank.

There are other acceptable payment methods such as redeeming an Apple Gift Card.

Have you asked your bank to issue you a new debit card with a different 16-digit number?
