“Your SIM is Not Supported”
My mom switched mobile carriers and got a promotion for a new iPhone 14 Pro. Previously, she had an iPhone X. When trying to activate the eSIM on the iPhone14 Pro, it says the following: “Your SIM is Not Supported. This phone number can't be transferred because the number is not allowed by your carrier. Contact your carrier to unlock this device.”
Why is this happening and how can we get this phone to work with the new mobile carrier?
This is a new device so not understanding how this device is locked. Also, we requested her old device to be unlocked just in case and that was approved.

Thanks!
