I’ve got a very strange problem. Whenever I type the word fishing or simply the start fi the predictive text comes up with “weird ****”
and puts it in the text. It even did it while I was typing this. This is not a joke. It’s infuriating as I’m a fly fisherman so I use the word a lot. How do I get rid of the predictive text problem?!

Double-check there are no text replacements in place to see if that's what's causing this to happen. Those steps can be found in the section "Set up text replacement" here: How to use Auto-Correction and predictive text on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If that doesn't help, reset the keyboard dictionary. To do that you'll tap Settings > General > Transfer or reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary. For those steps and more information on what this resets check here: Return iPhone settings to their defaults - Apple Support
