Disappearing home screen

My 2nd Home Screen comes & goes randomly. Previous answers suggest that if it’s not hidden (it’s not) it’s gone permanently but mine just disappears for a while then comes back. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Hello PetaDenhamHarvey,

If you use a Focus mode, you can customize the Home Screen pages: Use Focus on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.

This is perhaps what you are seeing. You may have hidden the second page when you turn a Focus mode on, and the second screen appears again when you turn the Focus mode off.
