Itunes does not play mpeg-4 video file (it contains music, no video).

Friends sent me some music in WEBM FORMAT. I tried to convert it to MP4, but the conversion came out as MPEG-4 VIDEO FILE. I added them to my iTunes library, but they don't play in iTunes. They play with Windows Media, VLC, etc.

Windows, Windows 10

Hey there cesarAcasas,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We'll be happy to help with this. If you run into this issue with only one file, see if your friend can send it to your again or if they can convert it and send it to you. An issue with only one file indicates that your device is working as expected. If other music plays, iTunes is working too. Let us know if you have any other questions or information about this and we'll do our best to help get it resolved.

Take care.
