Messages to Apple Support dont deliver

I’m trying to contact Apple Support through the support app. I click the link which takes me to my messages app with Apple Support as the contact. However every time I hit send on the message it always comes back as ‘Not Delivered’.

I don’t have any problems or errors with messaging any other contact. It only messages to Apple Support that are not getting delivered.

I can’t find anything on the issue. Can someone help me please. This happened a few days ago also just now, just didn’t get any response from the first time it happened so asking again. Thanks.

I’m using an iPhone XS with iOS 16.6.

Hey mate. Since no one has been able to help. I just started playing around with some different things.

One of the changes I made was that I don’t use iMessage. So I turned that on and instantly was able to message with Apple Support.

If iMessage is something that you also don’t use then I suggest give that a try and see if it works for you also.

Settings>Messages>iMessage

Im pretty sure if you have an iphone youre using imessage……….

that was a dumb answer lol. Thats not the issue bc i have had the same issue with apple support for years now too. Its only apple support it happens with
