Iphone with non existent apple id

My partner passed away and I have their iphone 11 that I want to use. I deleted their Apple

ID but their iphone still wants me to sign into apple with their ID. I can’t do that even though I know the password because the ID does not exist. How do I clear the data and get the phone into my name?

Apple ID problems i have recently gotten a iPhone xr from my aunt who passed away. i cannot get into the phone while i turn on the phone it asked for her apple ID and password as part of the activation lock. I have tried setting it up with my old iphone and transferring the information, but as you could guess it still did not go through. should i just throw the iphone away or is there something i can do to open it?

I am planning to give an old iPhone eight to a needy person and I have no idea what my sons Apple ID was since he’s passed away, nor do I know what the Apple ID was how can I clear out my phone for his phone which works perfectly well How can I reset a iPhone 8 when I don’t know the Apple ID or password my sons phone snd he passed away
