This Phone Number Cannot Be Used To Sign In

I don’t know why this is showing, I previously used iPhone xs where I used this sim. But when I sold it I removed my Apple ID from that device. I tried to reset FaceTime and iMessage before. But no use

I was able to fix it by disabling Dial assist. Then activating FaceTime and iMessages I again enabled dial assist.

to disable dial assist settings > Phone : disable Dial assist.

Now, I’m using FaceTime and iMessages without any problem

I don't think it is referring to the device.

If you have a phone number associated with an Apple ID, the same number cannot be used for another Apple ID. You need to use another Phone number.

Thank you, the the problem is I only have one apple id and this is my personal number, there less likely chance that someone are using my number or in past I have might created an apple id that i might completely forgotten.

So i have brought a new sim. And still it also showing the same
