Apple TV Plus does not allow the same show to be played in a second room.

I have 2 roku devices both signed into my Apple TV plus account. If I am watching a show in one room then go to the other room to continue watching the same show I get an error saying “Video Not Available There’s a problem loading this video.” I’ve completely uninstalled the app, restarted the roku device, and signed back in. Still cannot watch the show in the second room. I can watch a different show but not one I’ve started in the other room. Even if it’s a different episode.

Try this for the device that doesn’t play.

Another user (mygreensocks) suggested this procedure from Roku Support staff, which reportedly helped several users.

1. Remove the Apple TV app,

2. Shut off and unplug the TV (or streaming device),

3. Wait 30 seconds,

4. Plug the TV (or streaming device) back in,

5. Reload the Apple TV app.
