Calendar sync with office 365 auto cancels meetings!!!

For the past year I noticed meetings would get auto cancelled. They were usually long running reoccurring meetings where I had cancelled or changed individual occurrences. I suspect it has to do with the sync with my iphone and/or iwatch? I don't like using the Outlook app - I prefer to use the native calendar sync. I see a lot of other people out there with this problem - but no solutions.

It usually cancels at about the time that the reminder comes up so I wonder if I am doing something on my watch that cancels the meeting?

Can anyone help?

I have exactly the same problem. Sometimes after getting the calendar reminder on the watch for a specific meeting the meeting is cancelled (by the watch) after closing the reminder. Happens only for Outlook events and while seeing the reminder on the watch. Very annoying as it sometimes cancels meetings with a lot of participants - and everyone is receiving a cancellation email.

This has been happening to me as well. Not always but from time to time I see that invites get resent and, sometimes, the meeting is canceled just after I get the 15 minute reminder. After reading this, I'm thinking it has to do with my Apple Watch. I think this because I'm thinking it only started happening after I got the watch. Any update on what the cause and fix is?

Same here! It happens on meeting with recurrence.
