Just opened a link from a website and got this automated warning that my computer had beed locked down and to call apple support to unlock. It stated not to shutdown or restart. Is this a scam? Or something to take seriously.

IMAC Pro. Ventura. Called support number given and person hung up. Haven't seen this before.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.4

It is, of course, a scam. Ignore it. Do not interact. And, clear your browsing history.
