The measure of battery health deterioration/drainage is subjective and can vary depending on individual usage patterns. There is no universal standard to determine whether the battery health deterioration/drainage is normal or abnormal because it heavily relies on how the battery is used and maintained.
Protect & Prolong the Life of your iPhone's Battery:
Hello,
It is normal to have background processing going on while the phone is dormant. Yours seems a little excessive, but with a new phone there are a lot of indexing tasks to be performed. In the meantime, you might try these steps:
1) Have you tried a restart? If not, do it now.
2) Go to Settings > Battery > BATTERY USAGE BY APP to see the apps that are consuming your battery.
Note: many people consider it a best-practice to put the phone on a charger overnight every night:
Good luck.
