I have an Instagram account and I can post to it right from my iMac.
Now I want to open a second account and be able to post to it also from my iMac.
I tried to open a linked account but could post to it only from my iPhone, which is a pain in the neck!
If I open a completely separate, unlinked account with a different e-mail, will Instagram allow me to post to it from my Mac?
If anybody knows, please advise!

Unfortunately, Instagram (Meta!) does not reply to any inquires and sends you back to their online "help" center.
They do allow up to 5 accounts, but the trick is to be able to post to all of them from your iMac, where your photo library resides, and where you see clearly what you are posting!

You would have to contact Instagram for the requirements on their accounts. They may allow only one account per user.
