I know you can't update the iPod touch. Now I can't connect to my wifi. Did apple do something again? June 2023

The iPod touch was first released in 2007. Apple discontinued it May 10, 2022. Apple cannot support old devices indefinitely. The hardware just does not support it and your Wi-Fi may not support that old device any more. I’m afraid it’s time for a new device.

You can put music from your Mac's iTunes or Music Library onto an iPod. The synchronization process involves iTunes (in Mojave or earlier OSes), or Finder (in Catalina or later OSes).

You can only synchronize with one Mac or PC at a time. Synchronizing with another wipes out the iPod's media library in favor of whatever you're loading from the new computer.
