Has anyone been able to get around the uconnect update. I spoke with Uconnect and the upgrade for 6.5 will not adapt to phones after the Iphone 11 in cars that have radios that are older. My car is a 2016 Fiat and until this week my Iphone 13 worked fine. After the upgrade my phone is not recognized and I cannot use my handsfree. That seems like a safety issue too.

It is always up to a third party app to make its app work with Apple. Since it seems Uconnect is unwilling/unable to work with later iOS versions, there is nothing Apple can do.
