OneDrive Changes Photo Filenames

Hello...

My wife has an iPhone and we use OneDrive as our cloud storage.

I set the OneDrive app up, on her phone, to back up pictures and videos she takes.

I noticed, last night, that it changes the filenames.

For instance, what might be IMG_3950.jpg on her phone might be 20230701_192319556_iOS.jpg on OneDrive.

It even uploads (and renames) pictures that she downloads.

From searching, it seems like this is a problem with the OneDrive iOS app.

I haven't tested it, but I've read that sharing it from the Files app to OneDrive does not change the filename.

Unfortunately, that's not an automated process.

Is there a way to stop that behavior?

I do not have this issue with my Android phone.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but I don't have OneDrive split the files into Year\Month folders like she does.
