It would help a lot if you explain why you need to add a hardware address to your router ... and whether that's a static IP address for the Airport or doing MAC address filtering.


But in the case of Apple routers (aka Airport Express & Extreme), you need to use Airport Utility. Do note, however, that Apple discontinued the Airport in 2018 and some later versions of Airport Utility do not work with certain older Airports. You will have to do some research there ... here are places to start:
