How to recover a file once trash emptied

I tried using Terimnal and inputted the commands to restore a folder of a zoom room session I deleted by mistake. After inputting the file name to terminal it gives me either “file not found” or a command like that says “quote>”

im not sure what I’m doing wrong since I have the correct file name. Doni have to use a particular extension when searching for a folder 📁 or when searching for a zoom file? I only want the audio but since the audio was contained in the folder along with the video recording I even tried the file name with the ext m4a and mp4 none of which resulted in anything.

I REALLY need this file back any suggestions would be much welcomed!

Once the Trash has been emptied the file, folder, apps etc is gone and cannot be recovered. The ONLY way to get it back is to restore it from your backup. If you have not been backing up (A HUGE mistake and a 100% guarantee of lost data) your ship has sunk. If you use Time Machine to backup, then restoring the file is simple. Just follow the steps in Restore items backed up with Time Machine on Mac - Apple Support

Once the Trash is emptied the file is gone. Expensive Recovery software maybe able to recover the deleted file. However, if you have used the iMac after emptying the trash, then it has most likely been completely overwritten.

What I would do, is ask one of the other participants for a copy of the session.
