Suddenly can't talk in text, the microphone is yellow-orange; Siri doesn't hear me. Siri is on, Enable dictation is on, watch is mirroring iPhone which works fine. Any suggestions?

Yes, I have unpaired and re-paired. The microphone icon on my phone is blue, Siri works fine there. I have Siri activated on the watch and they respond when I touch the face, but then cannot hear my response; Hey Siri does not work when lifting wrist; when creating a text or email, the microphone icon is there at the bottom right, but when activated, I get an orange microphone icon at the top right next to 'send' and it does not take dictation.
I don’t have any explanation but mine spontaneously started working again. I was very frustrated with the problem and the lack of response and figured I would just have to live without that function. I hope yours also mysteriously fixes itself!
This is happening to me and I am so frustrated. Did you ever figure out how to fix the voice text problem? I would love the solution.

Have you tried restarting the watch and the paired iPhone?
