Apple Car Play random disconnect on a wired connection in 2 different vehicles

I recently upgraded to IPhone 14Pro. My wired connection to Car Play randomly disconnects on 2 different vehicles. My friends IPhone 13 Pro Max does not disconnect using the same wired connections. What setting requires adjustment to stop this annoying issue?

If your iPhone isn't detected by CarPlay, make sure that CarPlay isn't restricted. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. If Content & Privacy Restrictions is on, tap Allowed Apps, and make sure that CarPlay is enabled. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, tap your car, then tap Forget This Car.
